Powered bridging platform
For certain types of curved staircases the powered bridging platform can be a cost effective alternative to a traditional curved stairlift.
As the lift arrives at the top of the rail, the platform is lowered into position to form a bridge across the landing. Once the lift meets the platform you are free to walk across onto the landing.
The bridging platform includes the unique Bison barrier arm. Both mechanically and electronically interlocked, the lift will only operate from the main lift controller when the safety barrier arm is secured.

- Maximum stair angle of 60 degrees
- Minimum stair angle of 25 degrees
- The platform board has a maximum size of 1200mm x 1000mm
- Safe working load limit of up to 28 stone (180 kg)
- Auto park option is compatible with a platform
- Minimum clear width with of 680mm + clearance with a fixed seat
- Minimum clear width of 800mm + clearance with a swivel seat
